Trying To Live Free - Free Anonymous Email And Web Browser
The first thing I thought of was to change my email. I found a few and I read up on them and decided to pick Protonmail. I like it because you don't have to give any personal information when signing up and it is free. All you need is a user name and password and that is it. There is a couple drawbacks. First, with the free version, you only have 500 MB of space, which is more that enough for me. Second, you can only create 3 folders. Which kind of sucks but I am going with it. You can pay to have more folders and more space but since I am trying to live free, I will deal with it.
The second thing I though about was a web browser to use. I chose Brave. From what I remember, a former creator of Firefox created it and it seems pretty good. It has safe browsing on all the time and is easy to shut off if you can't see everything on a website. When you close out of Brave it deletes your history and it also lets you know how many things are blocked so you know it is working.
The last thing I wanted to use was a search engine. The one I chose was DuckDuckGo. I didn't know much about this one but a friend of mine told me to use it. I find it works just fine with my searches and I don't really miss Google that much.
So using all 3 of these things helps a lot when it come to trying to be anonymous online. All 3 of these products don't use or store any personal information, they don't track you and they don't use any ads when using their products. So with that take it all in and do some research, you can use these or find ones that work best for you.
